Lydia Norton is a British three-star event rider, born in 1997, based in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. She attends University whilst eventing her two horses, Painted Moon II and True Enough.

Lydia is a hard working, skilled rider who has previously been a member of the BE Midlands Under 18 team, representing at 100 level and the team winning at 1*(Now 2*) in 2015! Lydia has also been apart of the South Wold North Pony Club representing them multiple times at Team Show Jumping at Burghley Horse Trails. Through Pony Club she has been selected for the rider development pathway. Aside from Eventing, Lydia has picked up multiple wins at the Blue Chip Winter Showjumping Championships.  All on Painted Moon II.

The start of the 2018 season grinded to a halt before it had even started as Lydia had torn a ligament in her knee whilst skiing in February. Six months later she was able to kick start True Enough's eventing career at 80(T) and 90. Painted Moon's II season finished with a double clear at Somerford Park's 1* and Intermediate at Allerton Park.

Aims: I am hoping to get on the senior European 2* team (Now the European CCI3* (S) team after BE rule changes) Also aiming for the new new 4* as well as u25 Championships at Bramham!

True Enough - Truly

Breed: Warmblood

Height: 16hh

Favourite discipline: Dressage

Quirks: She gets really excited jumping but has a natural ability for dressage

Aims: Aiming for 100 and Novice by the end of the 2019 season.
